H1N1 Swine Flu & Seasonal Flu
As you are no doubt aware the 2009 flu season is
expected to be worse than in past years because
of intriduction of the H1N1 Swine Flu virus.
The Center for Disease Control has recommended
that communities develop a pandemic plan in
anticipation of an outbreak in your area.
This flu season CDC expects the new H1N1 Swine
Flu to increase more cases of illness, hospitalization,
and possible deaths in the United States.
Here are some tips for ealy detection for flu virus.
- Fever*
- Headache
- Cough
- Sore Throat
- Fatigue
- Body Aches
- Sometimes Diarrhea and/or Vomitting
Following are people more likely to get flu complecation,
so if you or your loved one is one of the following, please
be sure to take precaution:
- Children under 5 or people over 65
- Pregnant Woman
- Those who suffer from; Cancer, Blood disorders, COPD,
Diabetes, Heart disease, Kidney disorders, Liver disorders,
Neurological disorder, Weakened immune system (AIDS).
Best medicine to fight it is preventive! Please be sure to
wash your hands and gargle when entering home or have
done something that can expose yourself to the flu virus!
