Systremma - Calf Pain / Spasm
Systremma , also known as spasm of gastrocnemius
muscle, referes to a sudden spasm in lateral or bilateral
gastrocnemius muscle. In Acupuncture and Oriental medicine
catagorization, it is considered to be the invasion of the UB
channel by pathoginic cold. Clinical manifestations are pain
in the lower leg, difficult movement, and paroxysmal spasm.
