Flu Season
It's Back to School season
I'm sure everyone is cheering to see their friends and talk about what
happened during the summer break!
But you must not forget. With contact, there is
always a risk of transfering germs. With flu season
just ahead of us, everyone should not forget to
wash their hands and gargle to rinse out their throat.

Obama Health Care Plan
According to this morning's news,
Obama's Health Care Plan is receiving
more opposition as week go by.
As of today, 47% of Americans are
opposed to the health care plan, versus
43% are cheering for the plan to go
through. More and more Americans are
speaking out as public understands the
deal behind Obama's Health Care Plan.
Now, more and more insurance companies
are recognizing the potential of Alternative
Medicine. However, Obama's bill may take
that privilege away from those who are
finding relief from our mothods.
We could only hope this bill will turn out in
favor for many Americans who are concerned
by the current plan Obama has in mind.

Health Fair
Health Fair turned out great last Friday
at Gaylord Hotel & Resort.
Over one thousand people attended the health
fair with close to fifty vendors present.
As part of health fair vendors, we had familiar
faces from Aetna Insurance Company,
Whole Foods, Chamberlain, Juice Plus,
and other big name vendors promoting healthy
lifestyle to the Orlando Community
It was a great opportunity to speak and reach
out to the community about Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine.
Gaylord Palms Resort, Orlando
KITADE Wellness Center will be presenting at
Gayload Palms Resort in Orlando for the 2009
Health Fair.
If you or your family member is an employee of
Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center,
please come and join us for the annual Health Fair!
Many of local vendors including as Acupuncturist,
Medical Doctors, yoga studios and more, will share
their knowledge and resources supporting healthy
living.

Roy's Restaurant
On friday, we went to dinner at Roy's Restaurant.
It's in the same plaza as our office, Plaza Venezia,
located in Dr. Phillips, Orlando.
It offers Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine which is like no
other in Orlando.
Great meal!
We ordered Kurobuta Pork and Shimp Egg Roll for
appetizer and I had Kobe Beef for the entree, along
with bottle of Cain Cuvee. Just Wonderful!!
As I found out later that there are other locations
in Hawaii and Tokyo. So when I visit either one of
those locations, I'm going to have try them there
as well

We have received a wonderful e-mail from
NCCAOM (National Certificate Commission
for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)
The content of the e-mail is as follows:
Dear NCCAOM Diplomates and AOM Community Members
The NCCAOM had a unique opportunity to participate in a
press conference sponsored by the National Center for
Complementary and Alternative Medicine and the Center
for Disease Control’s National Center for Health Statistics
announcing the results of a just released study on consumer
use of complementary and alternative medicine in the
United States.
The results of this study show an increase in consumer use
for Acupuncture and Oriental medicine within a five-year
period. We are pleased to share this information with you on
the NCCAOM website.
It's great to hear that people are choosing Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine as their alternative medicine to heal the
body naturally.
