Preparing for Allergy Season!!
Allergy Season
The air we breath is filled with pollen!!
You may think,
"Oh, I'm not worry about it"
or
"I never experienced any symptoms in tha past",
But be WARNED!
Even if you never had problems with pollen before,
it is very common to suddenly start showing signs and symptoms.
Let me tell you why!
When people come in contact with pollen,
some will develop antibodies.
With years of accumulated antibodies in the body,
they will graduately react against invasion of pollen.
As a result, one may experience runny nose,
watery eye, itchiness, etc.
So, what can be done to prevent it?
Well, let me tell you how

Self care is "THE" most important point when dealing with allergy.
Three NOT to do rules!
----------------------------------
Don't breath in pollen!
Don't come in contact with pollen!!
Don't bring home pollen!!!----------------------------------
Yeah, it's like, "Duhh...!?" But, let me explain how this is done.
Tip 1.When you open your windows to air out the house,
screen doesn't keep the pollen out! Use a lace curtains,
which allows air andsun light to enter, but helps to filter pollen.
It acts as a maskto cut down on the amount of pollen that
enters your home!
Make sure you vacuum both sides of the curtain when you
close the window!
Tip 2.Often, people wear masks to avoid inhailing pollen
when they are outside. But, what they don't realize is
that other parts of the body is coming in contact with it.
For example, our hair traps lots of dust and pollen.
When they come home and take the mask off,
where does that pollen go?
They fall out of your hair and in the process you may
breath them in causing allergy symptoms.
So, what can you do?
Well, wrapping a plastic bag over your head will work perfect!
But, I usually go with simply wearing a hat which works
just as effective

Nylon or polyester clothing may be better than sweater or fluffy clothe.
This way pollen won't stick to your clothing as easily
and you can brush it off before entering your home.
Tip 3.Pollen won't come off simply by wiping it off by hand.
Always leave a brush at the entrance for you and anyone
entering your home can use.
But, when brushing off the pollen
make sure you don't do it too strong.
It may break the pollen making it easier to
flow through the air and also easier for you to
breath in!.
Key is to gently brush it off.

I have been alergic to pollen for more than 10 years, but I didn't know that wearing a mask cannot avoid inhailing pollen completely! I realized that easy tips can reduce the amount of pollen on the body. I will go ahead and wear a hat when I am outside.
