Free Origami Lesson!
KITADE Wellness Center will be hosting
Free Origami Lessons!
at Orange County Library.
Location will be:
West Oaks Branch in Ocoee - May 17, 11:30 am
South Creek Branch in Hunters Creek - May 31, 2:00 pm
We will be scheduling more Origami classes in
Dr. Phillips and Windermere branch soon!
Also, we will be doing lectures on topics relating to
Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, Herbs, and
how to live healthy lifestyle.

library calendar of events!
Now, let me tell you a little about Origami
Origami is the ancient Japanese art of paper folding.
In few simple steps, you can create paper crafted rabbit, crane, etc

1. Fun for children and adults alike.
2. Chance to experience different culture.
3. Good for child development
- Promotes creativity
- Improves imagination
- Learn importance of following steps
- Develops geometric concepts
- Better concentration
- Increases parent & child communication
4. Great for Brain function
Folding Origami require the use of finger tips,
stimulating the brain. Good for child development and
can be used as a preventive measure for memory loss or
Alzheimer in elderly.
Sometimes Origami is used for rehabilitation purpose.
*Many schools, child development facilities, elderly care centers,
hospitals use Origami as a part of their activity in Japan.
