Japanese Acupuncture Basics

Japanese Acupuncture

is one of a few major styles of acupuncture techniques.

It is mainly practiced in Japan and only few selected

practioners practices true Japanese Acupuncture technique

in United States.

Japanese Acupuncture is unique in its efficiency and precision.

Techniques often are directed at using the minimal amount of

stimulation to attain the greatest results.

In Japanese Acupuncture, needles are far finer (using needles

barely thicker than a human hair), and they are often inserted

no deeper than 1 or 2mm, with absolute minimum manipulation.

As mentioned above, techniques demand far greater precision

and care in comparison to standard Traditional Acupuncture.

Japanese Acupuncture requires much more training, however,

it is definately a welcome bonus for the patients as its methods

of needling are, to all intents and purposes,

painless!
